In VIDAS ao VENTO, Jiro Horikoshi lives in a city in the interior of Japan. One day, he has the dream of flying in a bird-shaped airplane. From that dream, he decides that building an airplane and putting it in the air is the goal of his life. During the search for his dream he meets Naoko, a charming young woman he falls in love with. However, Naoko is deeply sick, not knowing if he will survive.
